Restin Easy

As of tonight I have completely finished New Super Mario Brothers. After collecting the last coin in the final castle and realizing I still had a warp pipe I never got the path to, I can rest easy knowing that I fully completed this spectacular game. I am sure most of you have long since finished it. But I had been taking some time off to play my other unfinished games: Osu Tatakae Ouendan, Phoenix Wright, Advance Wars DS.

I guess I should take my time with the rest of these since its gonna be a long summer. And a damn hot one if you live in the NYC, ugh sweaty.

It's so gay that i lost interest in games just as they stopped coming out. I mean, let me at least feel like i'm missing out, c'mon. The next wifi game, if it isn't Contact, is Star Fox and it's coming on the 28th of August-- the 28th of goddamn August. They really only care about themselves and their money (and Xmas season), these guys. I fucken hate the 3 hardware makers.

Now you gotta search the bargain bin for an old N64 cartdridge to get you by the summer. Damn corporates.

That's a great Mario image .. where's it from?

I think they really need to be a bit more disruptive with their game sales. What the hell is the sense of putting Super Paper Mario out so close to the release of Wii? If that game went on sale today, I'd get it just to play something this summer. As I said before, I'm trying to play through some back catalog Cube games via Gamerang. My selections are looking pretty slim. Sad, for a system that is 4+ years old. There are only 13 titles in my list and it was a stetch to find that many. It's scary that Wii has more titles I want to play coming out at launch than the entirety of the Cube's catalog.

I won't be finishing New Super Mario Bros any time soon: I lend the game to my nephews and they lost the little catridge!

There must be something more to sales that forces Nintendo to adhere to such lousy release dates. Like Mr.I said, if they released Super Paper Mario today, they would make a killing. It won't do as well when released so close to the Wii launch.

It is sales, bro. They've always been like this. N64 was the best example, but i'm not gonna get into it now. I think Shiggs even stated once that they prefer kids get out and about during the summer, clearly to cover their own asses when they stop putting out games after mid-June.

Nintendo isn't the only game maker in existence, either. What's everyone else's excuse? Billetes, man.
